ANONYMOUS ELECTRONIC PAYMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD USING REPRESENTATIVE PAYMENT SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An anonymous electronic payment system and method using a representative payment system is provided to efficiently utilize the existing infrastructure of credit card affiliated stores, guaranteeing anonymous for clients. CONSTITUTION: A client accesses an Internet shopping mall web server(90) through the Internet using a web browser operated on his client terminal(50). After selecting desired goods, the client attempts settlement through a settlement web page(51) the Internet shopping mall web server(90) provides(b1). If the client selects an electronic wallet icon(b2), an electronic payment web server(60) downloads an electronic wallet driving program(52) to drive the electronic wallet of a payment gateway server(70) to the web browser of the client terminal(50)(b3). The driven electronic wallet driving program(52) receives the identifier of the Internet shopping mall web server(90), the client's identifier and purchase information for the selected goods(b4). If the client inputs his client identifier and password, the electronic wallet driving program(52) transfers them to the payment gateway server(70). The payment gateway server(70) authenticates the client using them. Then the electronic wallet driving program(52) delivers prepayment card selection information and the goods purchase information to the payment gateway server(70)(b5). The payment gateway server(70) temporarily stores the goods purchase information in a database(71) for settlement.
