<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for work at high elevations by which a wide range of travel becomes possible without changing the position of a hook at the time of work at high elevations and safety of work at high elevations can be ensured when inflammable products are treated or operations are performed near them because no spark is generated during movement. SOLUTION: The safety device for work at high elevations is comprised of a stainless steel rail 1 which has the form of a pipe with its underside open and is fixed in the horizontal direction by fitting to a fixed part of a structure or the like and a moving member 2 which can move in the direction of the length of the rail 1 by a wheel 11 supported by the rail 1 in its inside. The moving member 2 is provided with a connecting hook 3 for a safety belt 4 in such a way that it is positioned outside the underside of the rail 1 and an operator performs the work with a hook of the end of a rope 17 of the safety belt 4 which he wears around his waist or the like hung on the connecting hook 3.</p> |
