PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dilatable stent having more excellent flexibility than that of a stent structure usable at present. SOLUTION: This stent exhibits an intrinsic trend tending to maintain a shape of a body cavity in which the stent is deplayed when the stent is once expanded. This is a significant advantage as compared with a prior art. This stent has a tendency of deforming by stretching the body cavity when the stent becomes straight if the stent is expanded. This stent is characterized by a porous surface having a repeating pattern formed in a substantially butterfly-like state.
|
