POLYMER, POLYMER COMPOSITION AND SHEET MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polymer capable of producing a film having low water permeability and a low water content and a sheet material having a layer containing the polymer and to provide a method for heat-treating the sheet material. SOLUTION: This polymer is constituted of a monomer unit represented by general formula (1) (W1 is H, an alkyl group, an aromatic group or a heterocyclic group; Y1 is a bifunctional connecting group; V is a water retaining group which is at least partially gasified by heating and vanished). The sheet material has a layer containing the polymer. The method for heat-treating the sheet material is provided.
