PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily portable oxygen generator excellent in operability in the use in which the oxygen releasing quantity in harly lowered in the use. SOLUTION: The oxygen generator 10 housing a mixing liquid and a mixing base agent generating oxygen by being mixed with the mixing liquid is provided with a 1st vessel, which has a releasing port 7 for releasing oxygen, house the mixing liquid, the mixing base agent and a catalyst and has a mixing partition wall 6 partitioning a liquid chamber 9 housing the mixing liquid and a base agent chamber 11 housing the mixing base agent to communicate with each other, and a 2nd vessel 2, which houses the 1st vessel 1, provided with a take-out port 15 for taking out oxygen released from the 1st vessel 1 in the releasing port 7 side of the 1st vessel 1 and has a water repellent filter 18 covering the take-out port 15 liquid tightly.
