PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bottle cleaning device in which an empty bottle is accurately positioned on a conveying pallet, the empty bottle is conveyed together with the conveying pallet and the interior surface and the whole exterior surface of the empty bottle can be efficiently cleaned. SOLUTION: In this bottle cleaning device, a preliminary cleaning unit 4 for preliminarily cleaning the interior and exterior surfaces of the empty bottle W, an alkali cleaning unit 5 and a finishing cleaning unit 6 are disposed in series. A through-hole 7a making cleaning nozzles 9a, 9b, 9c and a rotary brush 9d pass through and a plurality of wastewater through-holes 7b through which wastewater of cleaning water is discharged are formed in the center part of the conveying pallet 7 on which the empty bottle W is positioned and placed. Supporting members 12 are disposed at 90 deg. intervals around the hole 7a for supporting the inclined surface Wb in the vicinity of the mouth part of the bottle W toward the hole 7a. A bar-shaped holding member 13 is vertically erected on the outside of each of the member 12 for holding the bottom W by abutting on the outer peripheral surface of the bottle W.
