PURPOSE: An apparatus for generating modulation/demodulation signal at the digital mode is provided to prevent performance decline by generating a frequency modulation/demodulation signal at the digital mode. CONSTITUTION: Oscillators(201) generate a predetermined clock speed and outputs it. A memory(202) creates a sine wave for the frequency of one period and stores a sampled digital signal. A program logic control unit(EPLD)(203) controls the sampled signal stored on the memory(202) so as to repeatedly output it with clock speeds of the oscillators(201). A digital/analog converting unit(DAC)(204) converts the digital signal output from the memory(202) into the analog speed with the clock speed. Low pass filters(205) output the analog signal from the digital/analog converting unit(203) converted into a necessary sine wave type.
