PURPOSE: An electronic commerce site operation method for performing return facility through temporary settlement is provided to remove buyer's inconvenience due to a sales price repayment in return by remaining the sales price under a temporary settlement during the term of return. CONSTITUTION: A temporary settlement process establishes a purchase price as an expenditure fraction preliminarily within a credit limit by a credit card approval number. A purchase price application process removes the temporary settlement state to cancel the purchase in the case of a return within a term of return, or applies for the purchase price to a credit card company by the approval number in the time of the temporary settlement in case the term of return is over.
