PURPOSE: A process for preparing a beverage product mainly comprised of a rice extract and fruit juice is provided by mixing a rice liquid such as rice and rice bran extract with fruit juice, milk or the like. Whereby, the product is useful as diet food to provide nutrition to an office worker who often omits breakfast. CONSTITUTION: The titled beverage product contains 30 to 40% by weight of a rice liquid such as rice extract and rice bran extract, 30 to 40% by weight of milk, 30 to 40% by weight of fruit juice, half spoon of honey and a little amount of salt. The fruit juice is selected from the group consisting of apple juice, grape juice, peach juice, pineapple juice and strawberry juice.
