<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise the power generation efficiency of power generation equipment by efficiently separating impurities in a produced gas, facilitating the feed of a combustible gas to a gas turbine-combined power generation, suppressing the discharge of carbon dioxide, recovering a part of the carbon dioxide in a liquid state as a by-product, burning and gasifying the resultant separated liquid oil and residue at a low temperature and raising the latent combustion energy in the produced gas. SOLUTION: This method for converting coal into a fuel for power generation comprises decomposing a coal-water mixture(CWM) raw material into the produced gas, an oil, a residue and water vapor in a reactor 18 at a temp. of 500-800 deg.C under a pressure 7-25 MPa, separating the decomposition product into the produced gas, water, an oil and a residue in a first separators 26 at a temp. of 100-150 deg.C under a pressure of 7-25 MPa, separating water from the water, oil and residue in a second separator 27, introducing the oil and residue together with an oxygen source into a heating furnace 10 under a pressure of 0.1-5 MPa, burning the oil and residue, liquefying carbon dioxide from the produced gas in a third separator 28 at a temp. of 5-31 deg.C under a pressure of 7-15 MPa pressure, separating the liquefied carbon dioxide and providing a combustible gas containing methane and hydrogen for the gas turbine combined power generation.</p> |
