WOODY CEMENT BOARD AND ITS PRODUCTION PROCESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide woody cement having improved properties with respect to nailing. SOLUTION: This woody cement board is a hardened body of a raw material mixture containing a cement-based inorganic material and wood chips FL or wood fiber FL' and has a structure such that a thermoplastic organic fiber network derived from conglomerates C in each of which the raw material mixture is included within a cotton-like lump of thermoplastic organic fiber OF spreads throughout the inside of the whole hardened body. The formation process of such conglomerates C involves subjecting thermoplastic organic fiber OF and wood chips FL or wood fiber FL' to rotary agitation/mixing prior to preparation of the raw material mixture.
