<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody cement board having strength equivalent to a structural plywood. SOLUTION: This woody cement board has a three-layer structure consisting of a surface layer, a rear layer and a core layer, wherein: each of the surface and rear layers contains wood wafers and wood flakes as wood materials in a weight ratio of the wafers to the fakes of 10:0 to 8:2 and is accordingly a wafer-rich layer; and the core layer contains such wafers and flakes as wood materials in a weight ratio of the wafers to the flakes of 0:10 to 4:6 and is accordingly a flake-rich layer. Thus, sufficient water resistance and durability of the woody cement board can be secured while improving its flexural strength.</p> |
