PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive instrument panel having uniformity in a color tone without a join and a groove on a design surface, in an instrument panel comprising an airbag device, and to provide a method of manufacturing the automotive instrument panel. SOLUTION: In manufacturing the instrument panel, first, a melting PP resin PPm that is hard resin is injected into a cavity of a metallic mold 3. At the point of time when filling the cavity of 80 to 90%, the melting PP resin PPm is stop injecting. Next, a melting TPO resin TPOm that is soft resin is injected from a gate provided at a position where an airbag door should be formed. At that time, the surface of the melting PP resin PPm has been already solidified, and the melting TPO resin TPOm spreads into the inside of the melting PP resin PPm without exposing to the outside. Therefore, the airbag door having no joint of resin on the surface thereof and comprising a soft resinous layer having enough thickness can be integrally formed.
