PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifter for mursing capable of easily and safely standing a person to be nursed to a state for enabling a change of his clothes or the like by alleviating a helper's manpower. SOLUTION: The lifter comprises a base 1, a pole 2 having an outer pipe 2a stood in a fixed state on the base 1 and an inner pipe 2b vertically movably arranged at its inside, a height regulating mechanism 3 for vertically regulating a height of the pie 2 of the pole 2, an arm 4 extended from an upper end of the pipe 3b of the pole 2 and having a horizontally bent part on the way, and a carrier 5 constituted of a pair of closably and openably carrying pieces inserted under the arm 4 to carry the person's body at the end of the arm 4.
