PURPOSE: Provided is a polyester resin composition excellent in fire retardancy, which can reduce a generation amount of phosphine gas remarkably and can be used as material for electric and electronic parts, car parts, and buildings. CONSTITUTION: The fire retardant polyester resin composition comprises 100pts.wt. of a polyester resin, 3-15pts.wt. of red phosphorous, 0.5-15pts.wt. of novolac type epoxy resin(formula 1), and 0.1-30pts.wt. of metal oxides selected from the group consisting of iron oxide, zinc borate, and a mixture thereof. In the formula, R1, R2, and R3 are identical or hydrogen atom, C1-C2 alkyl, NH2 or OH and l is a real number of 3-20. |
