PURPOSE: An automatic control apparatus and a system of a digital rectifier for an electric protection are provided to prevent an environmental pollution caused by a corrosion and to increase the life time of underground pipe arrangement by applying the automatic control apparatus and the system of the digital rectifier for the electric protection to various underground pipe arrangements. CONSTITUTION: An automatic controller(200) supplies power through a cable connected to a pipe(100). A driving unit(300) operates the automatic controller(200) and shows the operating state of the automatic controller(200). An output value of current and voltage supplied to the pipe(100) is inputted to a current/voltage detecting unit, which detects it. An A/D converting unit(220) converts an analog signal which is the detecting value of current and voltage inputted to the current/voltage detecting unit into a digital signal. The signal output from the A/D converting unit(220) is inputted into a digital logic control unit(230), which controls logically the input signal. The output signal of the digital logic control unit(230) is inputted into A current/voltage output unit(240), which supplies the current and voltage to the pipe(100) and an anode(A). The signal from the digital logic control unit(230) is inputted A central processing unit(250), which controls the current and voltage in order to prevent corrosion. A program storing unit(260) stores a program for controlling a protective current and a protective potential. A data storing unit(270) stores the value of the protective current and protective potential. A power supplying unit(280) supplies power which is necessary to each module. A communication unit(290) monitors remotely the operation of the rectifier.
