<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device in a composting facility for organic wastes which has a compact structure and can be provided at low costs, in which deodorizing effects can be obtained at a high rate and at a high efficiency, dispensing with a special waste treatment. SOLUTION: The deodorizing device, which deodorizes a gas 7 generated at a composting facility for organic wastes, comprises a gas-liquid contact device 1 wherein ammonia contained in the gas 7 is absorbed into a contact liquid, and the liquid, into which the ammonia is absorbed, is nitrified by means of nitrifying bacteria 4 and a denitrifying tank 2 wherein the nitrified liquid 11 is denitrified by means of denitrifying bacteria 5. Absorbing ammonia into the contact liquid and nitrifying the contact liquid are simultaneously effected in the device 1. A part of denitrified liquid 8 is circulated to the device 1 as a contact liquid.</p> |
