PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly decide a shift position when the contents of detected signals from first and second shift position sensors differ from each other. SOLUTION: A shift position deciding portion 272a determines whether shift positions indicated by output signals SP1, SP2 from an analog sensor 167a, and a switch type sensor 167b coincide with each other or not (S112), and when the shift positions coincide with each other, determines whether an abnormality detecting flag is set or not (S114). When determining that the flag is set, a stop state determining portion 272c determines whether a vehicle is in a stop state or not (S118). As a result, when the vehicle is determined as being in the stop position, the shift position deciding portion 272a makes a brake determining portion 220a of a brake ECU 220 determine whether a driver conducts brake operation or not (S120). When determining that the brake operation is conducted, the shift position deciding portion 272a conducts deciding of a shift position about the shift position indicated by both of out put signals SP1, SP2 (S122). |
