PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing artificial marble having no pattern irregularity and good from an aspect of a design by cast molding. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the artifical marble by the cast molding of a resin compound 1 prepared by mixing a pattern material 3 with a resin composition 2 containing a thermosetting resin and a filler, the viscosity of the resin composition 2 at 30 deg.C at the time of injection is 500,000-2,000,000 poise.
