PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an epoxy resin composition which has especially an excellent adhesion to ceramic and is excellent in heat resistance and electrical insulation; and electric parts insulation-treated with the composition. SOLUTION: The epoxy resin composition comprises an epoxy resin, an acid anhydride, and a filler, whereinγ-mercaptopropyl trimethoxy silane is mixed at 0.5-3 wt.% relative to the epoxy resin. The electric parts are prepared by insulation treatment using the epoxy resin composition.
