PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition capable of being applied to a readily hydrolyzable material to inhibit the deterioration caused by the hydrolysis, and to improve the durability, and further to provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive optical member having the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises (A) a (meth)acrylate-based copolymer, (B) a cross-linking agent and (C) a phenol derivative. The adhesive optical member is obtained by forming a layer comprising the adhesive composition at least on one surface of the optical member.
