PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which fully satisfies even a skilled player and enables a player to acquire sufficient medals even if the player is a beginner or a middle class player. SOLUTION: This slot machine is equipped with plural reels 31 to display plural kinds of patterns, a stop switch 42 to be operated by a player when rotation of reels 31 is to be stopped, a reel control pattern data table 67 with plural reel control patterns prescribing stop control of a reel 31 corresponding to the operation order of the stop switch 42, a reel control pattern lottery means 68 to draw lots of a reel control pattern from the reel control pattern data table 67, and a reel control pattern informing means 69 to inform a player of the contents relating to the reel control pattern selected by the reel control pattern lottery means 68. A player can view the informed contents and operate the stop switch 42 in a suitable order to get a more advantageous result.
