METHOD FOR DISTINGUISHING MEDIUM CONNECTION

PURPOSE: A method for distributing medium connection is provided to represent easily a connection order of media by storing the connection order of media in a storage medium. CONSTITUTION: A connector(111) of the first medium(100) is connected with a drive or an expansion connector of the second medium(200). An expansion connector(113) of the first medium(100) is connected with a connector of the second media(200). The connector(111) of the first medium(100) is connected with a medium order counter bus(114). The medium order counter bus(114) is connected with an increment circuit(112). The medium order counter bus(114) transmits '0' to the increment circuit(112) of the first medium(100). The increment circuit(112) increases the received signal as much as '1' and transmits the increased signal to a medium order counter bus of the second media(200). The connector(111) is connected with a medium selection bus(115). The medium selection bus(115) is connected with a comparator(116) and the expansion connector(113). The comparator(116) compares a signal of the medium selection bus(115) with a signal of the medium order counter bus(114). The comparator(116) activates a storage medium(117) through a selection control line(118) if the signal of the medium selection bus(115) is equal to the signal of the medium order counter bus(114). A comparator of the second medium(200) compares the signal of the medium selection bus(115) with the signal of the medium order counter bus(114). if the signal of the medium selection bus(115) is not equal to the signal of the medium order counter bus(114). The storage medium(117) stores a connection order.
