PURPOSE: A sealing method for display device is provided, in which main sintering process is performed at a relatively lower temperature, to thereby maximize damage to elements caused by oxidation or heat processing. CONSTITUTION: A sealing method comprises the first step of depositing a sealing material at the periphery of one of an upper plate or a lower plate which is arranged to be independent from each other; the second step of performing a temporary sintering process to the substrate coated with the sealing material; and the third step of performing a main sintering process by radiating laser(82) to the portion coated with the sealing material at a relatively lower temperature, after completion of bonding the upper plate and lower plate. The sealing material is deposited into height higher than the height of a spacer for maintaining the spacing between the upper plate and the lower plate.
