PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaner capable of improving cleaning properties when used as a lubricating oil composition for an air-cooled two stroke cycle engine. SOLUTION: This cleaner is suitable for the lubricating oil composition used in the air-cooled two stroke cycle engine and has a Mannich cleaner and an ashless dispersant in (3:1) to (5:1) ratio of the Mannich cleaner to the ashless dispersant. At least one of the following compounds may be contained in the detergent: a molybdenum compound, a perbasic alkyloxybenzenesulfonate and an alkyl salicylate.
