PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage container for an ink cartridge, capable of stably supplying an ink liquid in a good concentration range even in the case the ink cartridge is stored for a long time. SOLUTION: A storage container 1 comprises (1) a housing part 11 with at least the bottom surface outer side surface 15 provided as a spherical surface, (2) a weight part 12 for providing the gravity orientation such that the bottom part of the housing part is disposed at the lowermost part in the gravitational direction, and (3) an ink cartridge supporting means 11a capable of having the bottom part of the ink cartridge having an ink intake opening 24 at the lowermost part in the gravitational direction in the ink cartridge at the time of storing an ink cartridge 2 in an ink cartridge storage chamber 14 in the housing. |
