PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive, compact and high efficiency ozone generating device by suppressing the excessive increase of the cost and forming electric discharge gap length highly precisely. SOLUTION: In the ozone generating device having a counter electrode having <=0.2 mm electric discharge gap length set value, the low cost and compact ozone generating device is obtained by optimizing the electrode working precision (flatness tolerance and parallelism tolerance), which is one of factors to fix the precision of the discharge gap length, with the required ozone generating efficiency and having a simple structure to form a dielectric directly on a base body metal constituting a metal made electrode.
