摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ecological composite composition for giving flame retardance capable of giving the property at a low dosage, and generating no toxic material during production and combustion, and its manufacturing method, and a flame retarded polymer composite material compounding the composite composition for giving flame retardance at a low price. SOLUTION: This composite composition for giving flame retardance is obtained as a gel composition compounded on a support material particle by mixing a sol composition which is prepared by dispersing and/or mixing zinc nitrate (containing water or crystallization) and an Si alkoxide in a solvent, with a support material particle, then drying the mixed sol composition to a gel composition. This composite particle giving flame retardance contains a silicon component and a zinc component and oxygen and has a compounded constitution of a gel composition which generates a glassy ceramics when, for example, heated turning into a glass or ceramic on a support material particle. This flame retarded polymer composite material is obtained by compounding (adding) this composite composition giving flame retardance with a polyolefin polymer material by mixing or coating.
