PURPOSE: A place name sign for a toll gate top is provided to improve durability and to supply the clear image by reducing numbers of the luminous diodes and to make the loss of consumed electric power to minimum. CONSTITUTION: The place name sign for the toll gate top includes many luminous diodes(100), a panel(200), a cap(110), a flange(111), a refractive projection(112), a fixing screw peak(113), a tightly covering packing(114) and a nut(115). The cap(110) made of the transparent material is installed on a fixing tool of the panel(200) for fixing many luminous diodes(100). The luminous diodes(100) are inserted into the rear side of the cap(110). The flange(111) is formed on the cap(110) and the refractive projection(112) is formed at the center of the inside. The fixing screw peak(113) is formed at the rear of the cap(110). The tightly covering packing(114) is inserted between the front of the panel(200) and the flange(111) of the cap(110) and is fixed by the nut(115).
