PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat sensitive recording material, excellent in the quality of coating, color developing property and other characteristics, with a good productivity. SOLUTION: The information recording material provided with an information recording layer on a substrate is manufactured by a method wherein a plurality of layers of coating films, provided with an intermediate coating liquid film for isolating two layers of the coating liquid films between two sheets of coating liquid films whose viscosity is increased upon contacting or mixing, are coated through curtain coating to form the information recording layer. |
