PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat radiating effect of an image picking-up means for picking up an image of the periphery of a vehicle. SOLUTION: The image picking-up means 3 with a CCD 13 is mounted on an opening grille 2 located in front of a radiator 1a of an automobile 1. The cooling air is sucked to the opening grille 2 by operating a cooling fan 16 of the radiator 1a for radiating the heat of the image-picking-up means 3 by this cooling air.
