COMPOSITION FOR WATER BASE PAINT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition for water base paint capable of expressing strong resistance to staining even in case of painting at a high temperature. SOLUTION: This water base paint composition consists of (A) a cross-linked resin emulsion obtained by mixing a resin emulsion (A-1) obtained by emulsion- polymerizing monomers containing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer and an ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer as essential ingredients with a hydrolysis condensation catalyst (A-2) and (B) an alkoxysilane compound and/or its partially hydrolyzed condensation product.
