PURPOSE: A method for remotely managing an unattended terminal using Internet is provided to efficiently manage many terminals with low costs and human power by frequently grasping the state of each terminal at a center. CONSTITUTION: A host computer of a bank transmits data generated during sampling period to a DB server every sampling period(S202). The transmitted data is classified by manufacturing companies, products, and model of an unattended terminal and stored thereafter in the DB server(S204). In case that a trouble code related to a trouble of the unattended terminal is included in the transmitted data, the data related to the trouble is classified and stored(S206). Host computers of other banks connected to the DB server performs the same procedures(S208). In case of completing transmission within sampling period, the DB server waits until the next sampling period and then connects to the host computers of other banks(S210). The manufacturing company connects to the DB server through the Internet every predetermined time, receives DB data of the corresponding manufacturing company from the DB server, analyses and collects statistics of the downloaded DB data, and outputs the analysis and statistics of the DB data.
