PURPOSE: A regenerative burner device is provided to effectively heat a heating material, to collect the heat of exhaust gas generated after combusting and to improve heat efficiency by heating the combusted air. CONSTITUTION: A regenerative burner comprises a cover(5) covering a heating material(130) such as ladle dryer or tundish preheater; a burner(10) installed in the middle of the cover; plural regenerating materials(20a,20b) mounted both sides of the burner; a fuel supplying pipe(14) formed on a middle portion of a casing(12); a combusting air supplying passage(16) placed on the outside of the fuel supplying pipe; an air pipe(22) communicated to the combusting air supplying passage by being mounted on the regenerating materials; and plural generating members(24) established in a housing(26) while surrounding the air pipe. An entrance(26a) the housing receives exhaust gas by being opened toward the cover. The other entrance(26b) of the housing is connected to an exhaust fan(35) through opening/closing valves(28a,28b) and a conduit(28).
