PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a precipitation separator of a simple structure which can precipitate/separate sludge efficiently and purify drainage. SOLUTION: A flocculation/precipitation tank 9 is divided into an agitation/ mixing part 91 having a flocculant charging means for charging a flocculant directly and an agitation means for agitating/mixing the charged flocculant and introduced treatment water and a precipitation/separation part 92 for precipitating/separating flocculated sludge by a partition 93 with the lower part sides communicating with each other, and the cross-sectional area of the part 92 is formed to be larger than that of the part 91. A partition 94 which is immersed in water with the upper and lower parts communicating with each other is provided in the part 91, the agitation blade 131 of the agitation means and the inlet of the flocculant charging means are formed on the treatment water inflow side seen from the partition 94, and a communication port 96 with the part 92 is formed in the lower part on the opposite side.
