PURPOSE: An apparatus for improving cross modulation characteristic of a CDMA portable radio terminal is provided to prevent process capacity of a receiving signal from being lowered and improve cross modulation characteristic of the CDMA portable radio terminal. CONSTITUTION: A control part decides whether an automatic gain control voltage and a reference voltage should be output based on intensity change of a receiving signal. An inverse operation amplifier(310) outputs lineal control voltage by an applied state of the automatic gain control voltage output from the control part and outputs a step control voltage by an applied state of the reference voltage. An attenuator(320) controls attenuation of a signal received by the control voltage output from the inverse operation amplifier(310).
