PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium for ink jet recording, which excellent in ink absorbing property, surface glossiness, smoothness or the like and curl-preventing property in the atmosphere of a wide range. SOLUTION: The medium for ink jet recording is provided with an ink receiver layer on one side and a rear surface coated layer on the other side while 50 wt.% or more of a pigment in the rear surface coated layer is the plate- crystalline substance of amino silicic acid. |
