PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material for a display, which contains lead-free glass powder and from which the display, the brightness of which is hardly deteriorated, is obtained. SOLUTION: This material for the display contains lead-free glass powder and the chlorine content in this material is 100 ppm or smaller in terms of Cl- and the sulfur content is 10 ppm or smaller in terms of SO42-2.
