PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an ideal comfortableness in, for example, a motorcycle without employing too many troublesome operations. SOLUTION: This suspension unit has a damper main body 1 energized in an extending direction by a suspension spring 11 while one end is connected to a body side and another end is connected to a wheel side, a reservoir 2 arranged on an exterior of this damper main body 1 for allowing supplying and discharging of oil between the damper main body 1 during extension and contraction of the damper main body 1, a manual adjusting part 3 arranged inside a passage 14a communicating this reservoir 2 and the damper main body 1 for adjusting a passing oil amount inside this passage 14a by manual operation, and an automatic adjusting part 4 arranged in parallel with the reservoir 2 and inside a bypass passage bypassing the manual adjusting part 3 for adjusting a passing oil amount in this bypass passage by an input of an electric signal from outside.
