PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand for a lure rod capable of readily and rapidly carrying out the transfer of a fishing place without damaging the lure rod. SOLUTION: This stand for the lure rod is obtained by attaching a supporting member 9 for contacting and supporting a reel R of the supported rod S and leg parts 10 and 10 attached freely shakingly around a horizontal shaft center X on the upper side of a rod support body 8 to the rod support body 8 comprising a lower supporting member 3 having plural rod receiving parts 1A for receiving the rod butt in the left and right directions, an upper supporting member 6 forming plural nipping parts 4A for nipping the tip side of the rod S at positions respectively corresponding to the upper parts of the plural rod receiving parts 1A and a pair of left and right connecting members 7 and 7 for respectively connecting mutual left and right ends of the lower supporting members 3 and the upper supporting members 6 in the vertical directions.
