PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bring a single speed change lever mechanism to be simple and its operation to be easier. SOLUTION: This auxiliary speed change device of a cultivator and the like is constituted of a guide plate 3 formed with a long slot 2 for straightly guiding the operation pin 1 of an auxiliary speed change operation to be sliding through engaging to the slot and a shift arm 5 which is closely superimposed on the plate 3 and is formed with a dogleg guide edge 4 swung by a sliding contact of the operation pin 1.
