PURPOSE: To provide a ceramic electronic component with a lead terminal capable of easily and surely soldering the terminal to an electrode and having high connecting reliability of the terminal and a small characteristic deterioration due to a use at a high temperature. CONSTITUTION: The ceramic electronic component with the lead terminal comprises a four-layer structure having first electrode layers 1a, 1b formed so that electrodes 5a, 5b are respectively closely contacted with surfaces of ceramics for constituting a ceramic element 10 and made of an Ni-Ti alloy, second electrode layers 2a, 2b respectively formed on the layers 1a, 1b and made of at least one type selected from the group consisting of a Cu, Ag and Au, third electrode layers 3a, 3b respectively formed on the layers 2a, 2b and made of an Ni-Ti alloy, and fourth electrode layers 4a, 4b respectively formed on the layers 3a, 3b and made of at least one type selected from the group consisting of a Cu, Ag and Au. In this case, lead terminals 7a, 7b are respectively connected onto the electrodes 5a, 5b of the four-layer structure by solders 6a, 6b.
