摘要 PURPOSE: An advertising method on a communication network is provided to enhance an advertising effect by selectively displaying an advertisement related to a user-interested field. CONSTITUTION: A contents supplying computer checks whether a user is connected to an information communication network(S10). If the user is connected thereto(S20), constructing files(for example, a document file and an image file) with respect to a contents providing screen are transmitted to a user computer through the information communication network. The contents providing screen is displayed on a display screen of a user computer by the transmitted constructing files(S30). If contents to be read are selected from the contents providing screen, information with respect to contents item selected by the user is transmitted to a contents providing computer from the user computer(S40). The contents providing computer searches the user-selected contents, a constructing file thereof, and information with respect to an advertisement related to the user-selected contents from a database being stored in an auxiliary memory(S50). The user-selected contents and the advertisement related to the user-selected contents are displayed on a display screen of the user computer(S60).
