PURPOSE: A method and apparatus is provided to achieve an improved working efficiency and productivity by allowing gaskets to be manufactured through a batch production process. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a feed unit(20) for feeding a sponge(101) and an antistatic fiber(102) coated with a hot melt; a shaping unit(30) for combining the sponge and the antistatic fiber fed by the feed unit so as to allow the combination to form a predetermined shape; an extraction unit(60) for extracting a gasket which is shaped by the shaping unit; a tape attachment unit(70) for attaching a double-sided tape to the gasket passed through the extraction unit; and a cutting unit(80) for cutting the gasket attached with the double-sided tape into a predetermined length. The feed unit includes a vertical support plate(22), a fiber roll(24) wounded with the antistatic fiber, a sponge roller(26) and a combining roller(28). The shaping unit includes a combining section(32), a heating section(34) and a cooling section(36). The extraction unit includes a deceleration motor(62), a driving shaft(64) driven by the driving force of the deceleration motor, and a pair of conveyor belts(66) arranged to the driving shaft. The tape attachment unit includes a vertical holding member for holding the double-sided tape to be rotatable; and an attachment jig having a gasket passage. The cutting unit includes a cutter section operated by a motor, and a sensor for operating the motor.
