PURPOSE: Provided is a method for improving the efficacy of antibiotic by inhibiting MLS(macrolide-lincosamide-streptogramin B) tolerance to various microorganisms containing antibody of Erm protein(erythromycin resistance methylase protein). CONSTITUTION: MLS tolerance to various microorganisms containing antibodies can be suppressed: by inhibiting the interaction of 5 nucleotides(GAAAG) essential for Erm methyltransferase and/or their surrounding nucleotides in rRNA sequence of a microorganism, and glutamine 65 of Erm protein and/or its surrounding amino acid, particularly SQNF motif; by modifying 27 nucleotide sequence of rRNA; or by modifying amino acids in N-terminal end region which ErmSF characteristically has.
