The cutting body is made of hard metal and has four plate-shaped blades extending from a rotation axis. The blades each have a cutting edge formed between a free face and a clamp face. The cutting edges prescribe a common rotation body concentric to the rotation axis. The blades are preferably arranged at the same angle to each other so that the cutting body has linear symmetry and have flat clamp faces. An Independent claim is included for a rotating cutting tool incorporating the cutting body. |
