DEVICE FOR GUIDING SLAG FLOW DISCHARGED FROM BLAST FURNACE TO SLAG RUNNER

PURPOSE: A device for guiding slag flow discharged from blast furnace to slag runner is provided to effectively separate discharged slag from molten iron. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a Y-shaped iron trough(10) installed in the lower part of a slag runner(9); a cooling pipe(12a,12b) arranged through the iron trough; a frame(60) weld-fixed at an H beam(90) that is supportively arranged at the lower part of the iron trough being formed to be corresponded to the shape of the iron trough; a supporting plate(80) fixed in the lower part of the frame with spaced apart from the frame in a certain distance; a first and a second air cylinders(82,84) that are respectively fixed on the supporting plate(60) for selectively tilting either the back side of connection part of the slag runner(4) or the back side of connection part of the iron runner(3) in needed.
