synthesis of block copolymer of ethylene and propylene oxides based on ethylene diamine and preparation of demulsifiers of petroleum emulsions based thereon having protective effect against corrosion. SUBSTANCE: ethylene-propylene oxide block copolymer based on ethylene diamine of general formula: wherein 4n is 26-234, 4m is 29-203 has molecular weight of 6000-15000 conventional units and has properties of demulsifier of water- petroleum emulsion. Block copolymer based demulsifier further comprises solvent, ratios of components being as follows, wt %: block copolymer, 20-90; and solvent, the balance. EFFECT: high efficiency of demulsifier during break-down of stable water-petroleum emulsions within wide range of temperatures, and protection of equipment against corrosion. 3 cl, 2 ex, 2 tbl
