PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deepening agent for colored fiber and capable of making color deepness compatible with secondary performances such as friction fastness, whitening-proofness, feeling and durability, and to provide a method for deepening color of fiber using the agent. SOLUTION: This deepening agent for colored fiber comprises a resin composition comprising (I) a silicone resin having <=1.50 refractive index, (II) a fluorine- containing resin and (III) a cationic acrylic resin, wherein the weight ratio of resin (I) to resin (II) is (5:95) to (40:60) and the weight ratio of resin (I)+resin (II) to resin (III) is (60:40) to (95:5). The method for deepening comprises imparting the agent to a colored fiber surface and heat-treating the resultant to deeply color the fiber.
