PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a minus ion-generating member which exhibits excellent functions such as a heat-insulating property and a deodorizing property due to the generation of minus ions and the effect of far IR light. SOLUTION: This minus ion-generating member characterized by generating minus ions in an amount of >=500 ions/cc under an environment having a >2 mm amplitude frequency of >=10 Hz or under an environment having a repeated pressure of >=500 Pa.
